Delicious, creamy, decadent, Easy No Churn Vanilla Bean Ice-Cream, made at home!
Ok... so this is the BEST ice cream but what is even better .... you don't need a fancy ice cream maker to make this ice cream at home!!
You can make your very own delicious ice cream, with only 3 ingredients (...and a freezer! π)
This ice cream is for those special moments when you need a treat... Β and you 'need' a treat that is creamy, rich, smooth, and with the wonderful flavour of vanilla bean!
Of course, you can top the ice cream with whatever you like or even mix with different flavours!
The list of possibilities is so loooonggggg!
....chocolate, coffee, fruit and nut, caramel, sprinkles, banana, ..... you get the idea!
...even butterflies!
did I say....
Β ...only 3 ingredients!!!
- 2 cups of thickened cream - whipped
- 1 can (400g or 14 ounces) of sweetened condensed milk
- 2 vanilla bean pods
...which also makes this easy no churn vanilla bean ice-cream.... gluten free!!Β
How to make Easy No Churn Vanilla Bean Ice-cream!
As easy as 1,2,3
Step 1
Carefully slice down lengthwise, two vanilla pods and using a spoon, scrape out the vanilla seeds.
Step 2
Whip up fresh thickened cream in a mixer until there are stiff peaks and then pour in the sweetened condensed milk and carefully fold through (don't mix it too vigorously as you don't want to lose all the air bubbles in the whipped cream). Now add in the vanilla and fold through. You should be able to see little dark flecks of the vanilla.
Step 3
Pour into a loaf tin and wrap with plastic wrap and freeze in the freezer for 6 hours or more (or until it is frozen)
You can also freeze them in rubber (silicon) muffin liners and make a very elegant dessert ... sure way to impress your family or friends. When the ice cream is frozen just simply peel off the muffin liners and drizzle with chocolate.
Or maybe this is a sensible way of having a little cold, creamy rich treat everyday! π
Now the best part... eating the ice cream! π
Really, all this ice cream needs is a delicious cone to hold it!
(For all my gluten-free friends they even make Gluten Free Cones now!!! Β made by Eskal Ice Cream cones - Gluten Free)
...Β Yes, I am doing a little happy dance π
Enjoy! π
