This blog is all about enjoying what you have ....even if it is the simplest things like home cooking, craft, home ideas, thoughts, inspiration and focussing on having enjoyable days and moments.
I am truly lucky to live in Australia and I have 2 fantastic boys. I have my dream job of being a teacher and I love to find the beauty in the simplest things. It really is the littlest things that can add to your day!
I enjoy soaking up a moment with a freshly brewed green tea, enjoying meals with my loved ones, I love the smell of freshly cut grass and the smell (and tasting 😉) of baking and I especially love hoping into bed at the end of a long day with freshly washed sheets!! (nod if you agree with this one 😀)
Why I started a blog....
Over the last 9 years one of my boys has been seriously ill and looking after him made me see that it is the little things in life that is important and makes my family, smile.
Gluten Free cooking was my first inspiration...to find meals that taste great, don't cost a lot and are easy to make. It then grew. It is amazing how one little idea can make such a difference.
So often it is the little things that shape your memories - the home comforts, the great meals with family and achieving things that you set your mind to.
So this blog is about sharing 'the little things' that make a difference.
It is not about labels, or flashy things but about making the most of what you have.
So, I hope I can make a little difference in your world!
So grab a pot of freshly brewed tea or coffee (or whatever takes your fancy), find a cosy spot and take your laptop or iPad with you and have a look around the site.
You may just find the perfect recipe for dinner tonight or to make a delicious treat, or a gluten free recipe (that actually tastes great) or even just a little bit of inspiration to make the most out of your day!
